Thanks for visiting! Scroll down to see the 7 reasons I create art.
1 | I love details.
Growing up in Mexico, I developed a fascination for the tiny, intricate details in everything around me. My work leans towards maximalism, where I zoom in to capture and celebrate the minute elements that make up the bigger picture—much like life itself.
2 | I love patterns.
With a childhood spent in my mom’s tailor atelier, surrounded by rolls of fabric, my love for patterns was born. Those early days, combined with my journey as an art director, have sharpened my eye for design and detail.
3 | I love paint.
My passion for the organic, tactile textures found in nature is brought to life through my brush and paint. There's something deeply satisfying about feeling the paint on my hands, and the physicality of creating art. Studying at the Art School in Basel, Switzerland, where I had the privilege to learn from some of the greatest masters of Swiss design, deepened my appreciation for the physical and expressive nature of traditional techniques and the exciting possibilities of digital art.
4 | I love technology.
Blending digital art with traditional methods, I paint with a digital pencil and pad, starting with a single geometric shape that I repeat, overlap, and distort to create complex patterns. This fusion mirrors our modern reality, where digital and traditional elements coexist, capturing the essence of contemporary life and reflecting how technology and human creativity can align to shape our world.
5 | I love contrast.
I'm fascinated by opposites, particularly the interplay of matte and shiny surfaces. I love how the light reflects differently from every angle, adding depth and interest to my work. This contrast highlights the dynamic nature of the elements I depict.
6 | I love play.
The process of uncovering and experimenting is thrilling. Masking allows for surprise and random results, making each piece unique and full of unexpected beauty. Playfulness in art is essential to me—it encourages creativity without boundaries and lets me explore new ideas freely. Each layer reveals something new, adding to the joy and excitement of creation.
7 | More than anything, I love imagining.
Art has given me the eyes to observe the world around me. When I see something that captures my interest, I like to zoom in and imagine what it’s made of. Through my art, I share my vision and invite you to see and imagine with me. I’m curious to know what you see in my abstract creations, as sparking imagination is a joy we can share together.
